Police are investigating the mob murder of a man whose body was found in a street in Motherwell in Gqeberha on Thursday morning.
Police spokesperson, Captain Andre' Beetge, said the battered body of 27-year-old Zwolethu Songotsha was found with several stab wounds to the head and upper body.
"It is further suspected that the community meted out their own punishment on him after accusing him of theft."
