Two suspects, aged 28 and 42, who were arrested following a house robbery in Kwazakele, Gqeberha on Friday evening are expected to appear in the New Brighton Magistrate's Court on Monday.
Police spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg says the complainant and his wife arrived at their home in Zokwana Street, Kwazakele, and as they entered the house, two suspects attacked the man and assaulted him.
She says the attackers fled the scene with two cell phones and cash.
Captain Janse van Rensburg says the suspects were known to the complainant and he contacted the police.
She says both suspects were arrested at their house and the cell phones were recovered.
