Gqeberha police have released an identikit of a man who allegedly raped a woman in Greenbushes.
Police Spokesperson Colonel Priscilla Naidu says the suspect is a Zimbabwean National who approached the victim at her house in Kuyga late last month.
She says the suspect told the 20-year-old woman that he knew of someone who needed a domestic worker as she was unemployed at the time.
Colonel Naidu says he told her that he would have to accompany her to the house, situated along Cape Road.
She says when they approached Mission Road the suspect wanted to take a shortcut through the bushes.
The victim said she was threatened with a screwdriver before being raped and robbed of her cellphone.
Colonel Naidu says the victim had seen the man in the area before and could assist with compiling an identikit.
The suspect is 1.7 m tall and believed to be in his mid to late twenties.
