The 62-year-old tavern owner from Gqeberha, charged with the double murder of a Windvogel father and his son, will on Friday launch a formal bid for bail.
Norma Jacobs has been charged with the murders and kidnapping of 45-year-old Edwin de Vos and his 19-year-old son, Leonardo.
She made a brief appearance in the Gqeberha Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
The charges against her co-accused, Thebisihle Selani, have since been dropped.
At this stage, it has not been placed on record whether Selani will be used as a Section 204 witness (State witness).
Jacobs is set to launch her bid for bail on Friday, after previously abandoning bail, for fear of her safety.

At the time of her arrest, she had received numerous threats from the community.
The father and son were both mechanics.
It is alleged that they had done repair work to the accused vehicle, before their deaths in August last year.
The man and his son were last seen alive when they left their home in Windvogel with Jacobs, allegedly to go and inspect her vehicle.
Their bodies were discovered next to a gravel road near Addo a few days later.
Both had sustained gunshot wounds.
