The SA Weather Service in Port Elizabeth says good rain has fallen in places, especially along the coastal areas.
Spokesperson, Garth Sampson says falls in Nelson Mandela Bay's catchment area until 8 o'clock on Saturday morning, however, varied between only 9 mm and 27 mm.
Earlier, it was reported that 91 mm had fallen at Patensie, but Sampson said it was a typing error, and in fact, 19 mm fell at the town.
