GO GEORGE bus service introduces first route to Thembalethu

The first route of the GO GEORGE bus service to Thembalethu was rolled out on Sunday morning.
George Municipality says it was decided to start with one route, Route 18A from Thembalethu to Blanco.
It says more routes will continually be rolled out until all the planned routes have been activated.
Public Transport Oversight official, James Robb says it has been a long time coming, and was a team effort from their Safety Cluster to the taxi industry and the community at large.
He says they look forward to being able to offer this additional service to the community.
