Go-ahead given for another citrus farm in Sunday's River Valley

The Eastern Cape Department of Economic Development has given the go-ahead for the expansion of another citrus farm in the Sunday’s River Valley.
The department has issued a positive Record of Decision for the clearing of 74 hectares of indigenous vegetation for the expansion of the Mis-kruier Citrus Farm in Kirkwood.
The project also involves construction of a water storage dam for irrigation purposes.
The Eastern Cape Department of Economic Development says several permanent jobs will be created as well as 300 seasonal employment opportunities.
