George woman dies in accident

 A 36 year old woman from George has died after her car collided with an oncoming vehicle.

Police spokesperson, captain Bernadine Styen, says the woman was driving in the direction of Cape Town when she lost control of her vehicle and crashed into an oncoming truck.

The accident happened early this morning on the N-2 near Albertinia.

Police have opened a culpable homicide docket.
