George police searching for missing school girl

Police in Thembalethu in George are appealing for help in tracing a missing schoolgirl.

Police spokesperson, Captain Dumile Gwavu, says 17-year-old Anovuyo Makhasi of Zone 6 in Thembalethu left home in her school uniform on Wednesday morning and has not been seen since.

He says she is a learner at Imizamo Yethu High School.

Gwavu says anyone who may the whereabouts of Anovuyo should urgently contact Lieutenant Colonel Eric Julies at 044 802 8926 / 082 778 7254.
