George police are searching for two men who shot and wounded a Somali spaza shop owner during a robbery.
Police spokesperson, captain Bernadine Steyn, says the 21-year-old man is in a stable condition in hospital.
She says one of the two men who entered the spaza shop in Tembalethu on Sunday night shot the man in the stomach after they ordered him to unlock a security gate.
Steyn says they took cash, cellphones and airtime before fleeing on foot.
She says anyone who may have information on the shooter should contact the Tembalethu police.
