A 33-year-old man who allegedly sold dagga to schoolchildren in George has been arrested and appeared in court.
Phillipus Coenraad Swart had dagga with a street value of R10 000 in his possession.
Swart was investigated after allegedly advertising his dagga on Facebook.
He was released on warning and must be back in court on the 12th of February.
In September the Constitutional Court decriminalised the private use of dagga in South Africa.
The highest court in South Africa also ordered Parliament to change a section of the Medicine Controls Act within 24 months.
