George police have arrested a 17-year-old learner from the Imizamo Yethu Secondary School after a fellow learner was stabbed to death on Monday.
Police spokesperson, Captain Malcolm Pojie, says the incident happened outside the school following an argument between the two boys.
He says the teenage victim died in a local clinic after being stabbed three times.
The suspect, who cannot be named because he is a minor, appeared in the George Magistrate's court on Wednesday on a charge of murder.
