A Gardener will appear in the George Magistrates Court today for a formal bail application following his arrest in connection with the murder of an elderly George resident.

The 31-year-old suspect Jonathan Claasen was arrested five hours after the discovery of the victim's body on Saturday the 18th of March.

The 77-year-old Isabella Kruger’s body was found in a bathtub filled with water in her home. Her body was found by her daughter in the Kraaibosch Country Estate.
