George driver in court after injuring 12 youths

A man accused of injuring 12 youths while trying to flee from police in Lawaaikamp, George, has been granted bail of R5000.
However, Vuyani Sondoso remains in custody because he has not been able to come up with the money.
He's been charged with drunken and reckless driving.
Sondoso was also fined R1 500 during court proceedings on Monday, for the use of a vehicle without the permission of the owner.
