Garden Route woman dies after being set alight allegedly by husband

A woman from the Garden Route died in the George Provincial Hospital from burn wounds after she was set alight by her husband. 

It is alleged that the victim and the middle aged man had an argument after she offered him bread for dinner instead of cooked food.

She was treated on the scene Monday night and had 85% burn wounds to her body. 

The victim later died in hospital.

The man has been arrested.
