Western Cape Community Safety Minister, Dan Plato, will travel to the Garden Route tomorrow.
That's to address safety concerns of residents in Sedgefield and Knysna.
The Minister's spokesperson, Greg Wagner, says Plato received messages from the public in Sedgefield regarding their concerns about crime.
" As part of his oversight role he is going to visit the police station in Knysna and will be meeting with the community of Sedgefield as well as the South African police, neighbourhood watch and community forums and local councillors to discuss there concerns and ways to improve safety in the area. He is also going to be handing over some equipment to the neighbourhood watch in order to assist them with doing their job in the area" Wagner said.
