Port Elizabeth police arrested a fourth suspect for the November murder of Constable Nomathamsanqa Tsitsi in Motherwell.
Police spokesperson Captain Andre' Beetge, said the 36-year-old man, who is a family member, was arrested at a memorial service for her in Kwazakhele on Tuesday.
He is due to appear in court in Motherwell on Thursday.
Beetge said the suspect's identity will only be revealed after his court appearance.
Three other suspects who were arrested for Tsitsi's murder last week appeared in court on Monday.
They were remanded in custody and will be back in court on the 12th of January.
Constable Tsitsi was shot dead on the 12th of November as she arrived home from work.
