Four men were wounded when gunmen opened fire on a shack in Bethelsdorp, Port Elizabeth.
Police spokesperson, captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg, says the shooting incident happened in the early hours of Thursday morning in Extension 23.
She says five men were sitting in a shack on the back of a plot when an unknown number of gunmen fired numerous shots.
Janse Van Rensburg says four of the five men were wounded and admitted to various hospitals.
Several spent cartridges were found at the scene.
No arrests have been made.
