Four suspects have been arrested and a fifth shot and killed following a business robbery in Kempston Road in Gqeberha.
Hawks spokesperson, Captain Yolisa Mgolodela, says a shootout broke out between the police and the suspects who had already fled the crime scene after Friday's robbery.
She says one suspect was fatally wounded during the shootout, while a second sustained gunshot wounds and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Mgolodela says details surrounding the incident are still unclear.
