Four people were questioned for suspected abalone poaching between Keurbooms and Salt River estuary on Friday night.
SANParks spokesperson, Nandi Mgwadlamba says their rangers in Tsitsikamma gave chase after 13 suspects and caught four of them.
She says no abalone was found on them, but diving equipment was confiscated.
This comes nearly a month after 48 suspects were nabbed for abalone poaching at the same spot.
The Tsitsikamma Park Manager, Victor Mokoena says patrols are ongoing in that area and other hotspots.
Senior marine ranger, Bruce Halana says 'rangers placed at strategic spots to monitor the area made all the difference'.
