Four people killed in accidents in and around Nelson Mandela Bay

Eastern Cape police are investigating a case of culpable homicide after three people were killed in an accident on the the R-72.
Police spokesperson, warrant officer Dumile Gwavu says three males aged between seven and 40, were traveling towards Alexandria on Monday night when their vehicle overtook a truck and collided head-on with another truck.
Gwavu says all three died on the scene.
Meanwhile, Port Elizabeth police say a pedestrian has died after being knocked down by a taxi.
Police spokesperson, captain Johan Rheeder, identified the victim as 32-year-old Siyathemba Maniyo.
A case of culpable homicide is also being investigated.
