Four people were killed in a collision between two cars on the Uitenhage Road in Port Elizabeth.
Provincial traffic spokesperson, Charles Bramwell, said that the deceased included two men, a woman and a child.
He said three other people, including an eight-year-old child, survived the horror accident on Sunday afternoon.
Bramwell said the vehicles were involved in a high-velocity impact on the corner of old Uitenhage Road and Nooitgedacht Roads.
