Eastern Cape police are investigating a case of culpable homicide, after four people were killed in a collision on the N10 between Middleburg and Cradock on Tuesday evening.
Provincial traffic spokesperson Charles Bramwell says it's alleged that a Ford Bantam bakkie collided with a Truck.
He says three men and a woman were declared dead at the scene, while three people sustained minor injuries and were transported to Cradock Hospital.
Bramwell says it is alleged that the bakkie was turning right, and the truck overtook it - hitting it on the side.
According to reports from the scene, the truck driver and his assistant, who are foreign nationals, were arrested by the police for failing to produce the required identification documents.
