Four killed in head-on collision between Jansenville and Graaff Reinet

Four people have been killed in a head-on collision on the R75 between Graaff Reinet and Jansenville.

The Eastern Cape Transport Department says the accident happened late on Friday when a VW Polo traveling from Jansenville collided with an articulated truck.

Spokesperson, Unathi Binqose says all four occupants in the Polo died at the scene.

He says the occupants in the truck escaped unharmed.

The cause of the accident is not known and police are investigating a case of culpable homicide.
