Four killed in EC head-on collision

Four people have been killed in a head-on collision between a truck and a sedan on in the N2 between Mt Ayliff and Mt Frere in the Eastern Cape.

The Provincial Transport Department says in a statement the accident happened on Friday evening.

It says the victims died of multiple fatal injuries.

The Department says the truck driver sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

The cause of the accident is not yet known.
