Four people will be appearing in court in Plettenberg Bay today on charges of public violence.
Service delivery protests at Plett turned ugly yesterday as a group of protesters blocked the N2 with rocks and burning tyres.
The police's public order unit used stun grenades to disperse the group and arrested two people.
Police spokesperson, captain Malcolm Pojie says the protest flared up again last night and that another two people were arrested.
He said the protest was dispersed by 10pm.
Pojie said the public order unit is on the scene this morning and is keeping a close eye on the situation.
