Port Elizabeth police have arrested three men and a woman for the illegal posession of perlemoen.
Police spokesperson, warrant officer Alwin Labans, says police were acting on a tip-off when they arrested the suspects in a house in Algoa Park.
He says police seized 15 bags of perlemoen with an estimated street value of R140 000.
Police also seized diving equipment and two vehicles.
Labans says the suspects aged between 27 and 50, will appear in court soon.
