Police have arrested four suspects who are suspected to be linked to the murder of the 62-year-old Heila Killian who was shot and killed on a farm near Still Bay last Monday.
Killian was a guest on the farm that serves as the Gazania Nursery and was busy braaing with three friends when five armed suspects in orange overalls opened fire on them.
Police said one of the bullets hit Killian and she died on the scene.
The suspects ransacked the house and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, firearms and hunting knives in a white Toyota Hilux bakkie, which belonged to the farm owner.
A police spokesperson said the suspects were arrested on Friday while they were busy stripping a vehicle in the backyard of premises in Mitchell's Plain‚ Cape Town.
The suspects are in custody at Mitchell's Plain police station and face a charge of possession of a hijacked vehicle.
Police said more charges might be added as the investigation continues.
