Fort Beaufort police arrest 6 suspects for robbery

 Police in Fort Beaufort have arrested 6 suspects who allegedly robbed four people of their phones and shoes on Monday night.

Police Spokesperson Warrant Officer Bradley Rawlinson says they received a call at about 8.30pm and went searching for the suspects.

They were arrested in Barkley street.

Police confiscated one fire arm and ammunition as well as all the stolen goods.

The suspects between the ages of 18 and 20 will appear in court soon.
