Former Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality Communications Manager, Ronald Williams, is due back in the Port Elizabeth Commercial Crimes Court on Thursday where he is charged with fraud.
A second accused was added during his last appearance in court in August.
Mango Moon Trading, which is trading as V & R Auto, will be represented by Renika Rungan, widow of Raven Rungan who was shot and killed in September 2015 in Port Elizabeth.
Williams was arrested on 6 July following an investigation by insurance company, Santam.
Following a brief appearance on the same day on a charge of fraud, Williams was granted bail of R2000.
The State alleges that Williams had taken his car to V&R Auto where the late owner had allegedly arranged for the vehicle to be smashed so that it could be written off for insurance purposes.
