The task of formally identifying the remains of the 15 people who died in a bus crash near Cradock began on Monday.
Provincial traffic spokesperson, Tsepo Machaea, said that while the process got underway today most of the relatives of the victims are expected to be arriving in Cradock by Wednesday.
He says the Department of Social Development will also make social workers available to counsel the families during the identification process.
The victims were in a mini-bus travelling from Cape Town to Mthatha.
The taxi hit a school bus killing Cradock Primary School principal Wimpie van der Merwe and 10 year old learner, Stefanus Ferreira.
Fourteen others people were injured, some critically.
