Two foreign nationals have been arrested for allegedly being in possession of suspected stolen electronic goods worth an estimated R300,000.
Police spokesperson, captain Mali Govender, says the Ghanaians were arrested at the Port Elizabeth airport on Tuesday after police were alerted by baggage handlers.
She says the scanners detected that several of their bags contained laptop computers, cellphones, cameras and hard drives among others.
Govender says several of the laptops were stolen in Grahamstown.
She says the suspects are due to appear in court on Thursday.
