A 48-year old man from France and a 68-year old man from Austria were among the victims of Saturday's horror accident on the N2 near the Thornhill off-ramp towards Port Elizabeth in which five people were killed.
Police Spokesperson Lieutenant Gerda Swart says a 70-year old man from Jeffrey's Bay and a couple, also from Jeffreys, in their fifties also died at the scene.
She says a female from Johannesburg was taken to a hospital in Port Elizabeth.
The accident involved a Renault Clio and Mazda who were travelling in opposite directions.
It is unclear at this stage what lead to the accident. Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide.
