The service delivery protest that turned violent on Monday at KwaNonqaba, Mossel Bay is continuing.
More than 2 000 protesters started regrouping on Tuesday morning.
Protesters started targeting shops owned by foreign nationals and police had to make use of tear gas and stun grenades in order to control the rioting crowds.
More than 15 shops were vandalised by protestors while the house of a DA councillor was also targeted.
The councillor and his family evacuated their home. Approximately 50 mini bus taxis blocked Marsh Street in Mossel Bay.
Police members warned that they will move the taxis with force if they don’t move away. The situation is currently tense but under police control
