Foreign national shot in PE after pressing panic button

Police in Port Elizabeth are looking for a suspect who shot an killed a foreign national in Schauderville on Sunday morning.
Police Spokesperson Colonel Priscilla Naidu says three men robbed a Spaza shop on Friday afternoon, but the owner did not lay any charges.On Sunday morning at seven o clock when the shop opened, one of the suspects returned.A 26 year old shop assistant pressed the panic button when he recognised the man.
The suspect fired a shot fatally wounding the man.Naidu says they do not have any identity yet for the victim and he is believed to be a Malawian.
The suspect ran away and no arrests have been made.Meanwhile a tavern owner was shot and wounded outside his premises in Missionavale on Saturday night, after breaking up a fight outside.
Naidu says the 66-year-old man broke up a fight and stayed outside until the situation was calm.During this time an unknown gunman approached him and fired three shots before running away.Naidu says the suspect was not part of the fight that broke out moments earlier and the motive therefore is unknown at this stage.
