Southern Cape police have foiled a cash in transit heist in Knysna, arresting seven suspects said to be from Port Elizabeth.
Police spokesperson, Captain Malcolm Pojie, says the breakthrough was a result of an intelligence driven operation involving several police units including the Hawks from George.
He says police conducted a stake out this morning and after spotting the vehicles the men were travelling in, pounced in the centre of town.
Pojie says no shots were fired during the operation.
