Fly Safair in PE for country-wide roadshow

The country's new low cost airline, Fly Safair, touched down in Port Elizabeth on Thursday as part of the airline's country-wide launch road-show.

The airline takes to the skies officially next Tuesday with its first domestic passenger flight from Cape Town to Johannesburg.

Airline CEO, Dave Andrew, says they are a true low cost carrier, offering the traveling public an alternative that doesn't just offer low fares as part of a special deal, but on a permanent basis.
He spoke to Algoa FM News during their stop over before heading to George and then Cape Town.

"As you may be aware we start our scheduled operations out of Cape Town on the 16th of October to Jhb and then on the 30th of October flights from Cape Town to PE on a daily basis. We then ad flights from George to Cape Town on the 13th of November. We are really looking forward to serving the EC and WC market in particular and bring affordable prices to our communities" he said
