The rain over the area will gradually start clearing from the west towards Saturday evening.
The rain has been caused by a steep upper air trough/cut off low accompanied by a deep layer of tropical moisture, that started on Thursday and will be moving out to sea on Saturday. A banana shaped high pressure system has been feeding low level moisture into the system. Hence the presence of low cloud which has caused disruptions to aviation.
