Five people were killed in an accident on the N2 in Port Elizabeth on Sunday morning.
Police spokesperson, Capt Stanley Jarvis says the accident happened at around 9-30 near the Deal Party-offramp, when an Opel Corsa with 5 occupants collided with a pedestrian.
He says the driver of the car lost control, and it overturned several times.
Jarvis says 4 men in the Corsa - aged bewteen 18 and 22 - as well as the 32-year old pedestrian died at the scene.
He says the 5th man in the car was admitted to Livingston Hospital in a serious condition.
Police are investigating a case of culpable homocide.
