Five people have been killed after a head on collision on the N2 between Port Elizabeth and Plettenberg Bay on Sunday morning.
Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Gerda Swart says the accident happened just after 5 am the Coldstream turn off.
All four occupants of the car and the driver of a bakkie died at the scene.
The road is currently closed and motorists will be diverted onto a gravel road. Trucks however will have to wait for the scene to be cleared up.
