Five people, including two domestic workers, have appeared in court for the brutal murder of Willowvale mother, Carme Manthe.
Thirty-seven-year-old Manthe died in an East London hospital on the 27th of May, six days after the vicious attack left her in a coma.
Police spokesperson, captain Jackson Manatha, says the five suspects, who were arrested between Friday and Monday, face charges of conspiracy to commit murder.
They were not asked to plead when they appeared in court and their case was postponed to next Wednesday for a bail application.
Among the accused was Manthe's domestic worker, Thembaka Mdakana and a former domestic worker, Noluntu Mapolisa.
