A 26 year-old man has made a brief appearance in the Humansdorp magistrate's court in connection with the murder of 45 year-old Roseline Bosman.
Police Warrant Officer Basil Seekoei has named the suspect as Lunga Soldaat.
Bosman's body was found by children in her home in Humansdorp on Saturday morning.
Soldaat was arrested in Hankey on Sunday. He will remain in custody until his next court appearance on the 21st of September for a formal bail application.
Two other men arrested in connection with Bosman's murder will also make their first court appearances this week.
A 49-year old man arrested in Hankey in the early hours of Monday morning will make his first court appearance on Wednesday and an 18-year old youth arrested in the Humansdorp area on Monday evening, will appear on Thursday.
