First high school in Mvezo to officially open its doors soon

The official opening of the first high school to open its doors in Mveso, the birth village of former president Nelson Mandela, will take place on Friday, 17 January.
The Mandela School of Science & Technology started orientation classes this week for over 460 learners in Grades 8 to10.
Tuition will start on 15th.
The school will provide classes to 700 learners from Grades 8-12 from 2016.
President Jacob Zuma is among dignitaries expected at the opening.
The school has been made possible through a partnership between the Mvezo Development Trust, the Department of Basic Education and global engineering company, Siemens.
