Firearm found after Boardwalk robbery

Port Elizabeth police are still searching for three men who robbed a high-end jewellery store at the Boardwalk Casino Complex on Thursday evening, making off with posh Rolex watches.

Capt Johan Rheeder says a firearm was recovered on Friday evening in a hedge near the tenpin bowling area of the complex.

He says police cannot confirm if the weapon was used during the robbery, and it was sent for ballistic tests.
