A passenger from the DMJ transport bus that crashed on the N2 last week has died from his injuries in hospital.
The Department of Transport says he died on Wednesday morning bringing the death toll in this horrific accident to 31.
The bus that was travelling from Cape Town towards Mthatha lost control on the N2 last week in the Kei Cuttings area.
A spokesperson for Provincial Traffic Unathi Binqose said the victims, who were travelling to Ngcobo, Dutywa and Mthatha, included 23 women, five men and three children.
He says they also have now identified all the victims.
Binqose says a man who was unclaimed has since been identified as a Mozambique National and arrangements are being made to repatriate his body.
The Department is planning a joint memorial service on a date that is yet to be finalised.
