A Port Elizabeth man is in police custody after allegedly killing his sister during an argument on Sunday.
Spokesperson Colonel Priscilla Naidu says it is alleged that the 49-year-old man was having an argument with his sister in the lounge of their home in Basson Street in Bloemendal which continued outside.
She says moments later the 45-year-old Verity Monnel came back into the house where her husband saw her bleeding from her back.
Monnel went to lay on her bed and died before she could receive medical assistance.
Police were called out to the scene at about 8 pm where the brother was arrested.
He is expected to appear in court soon.
