A Fidelity driver was injured on Monday after he allegedly lost control of his vehicle along the M19 in Azalea Park in Nelson Mandela Bay.
The bakkie landed in the backyard of a house on Thorn Street in the most peculiar position.
Police spokesperson Colonel Priscilla Naidu says they attended the scene where they found the driver being treated by an ambulance service.
She says there were two other passengers who did not want to speak to police.
It remains unclear as to what exactly happened as no case has been opened with police.
Colonel Naidu says the driver informed them that he would liaise directly with his employer.
It has been a challenging month for the company which lost two of their guards who were allegedly targeted for their firearms.
On the 2nd of September, 30-year-old Ridgeley Watson was shot multiple times while driving his Nissan NP200 on the corner of the M14 and Kohler Street.
It is alleged that one of the suspects reached into Watson's vehicle, stole his firearm, and fled the scene.
Just five days later, another guard was killed in Kwanoxolo while on duty, escorting a liquor truck doing deliveries.
The yet-to-be-identified 31-year-old was killed and his gun stolen.
The Fidelity Services Group appealed to the public in Gqeberha for information.
