A fast-food outlet was robbed of a substantial amount of money in Newton Park, Port Elizabeth on Sunday morning.
Police spokesperson, WO Alwin Labans says 7 men, three of them armed with firearms, entered a KFC-branch, and ordered everyone inside to lie down.
He says they then ordered staff to open the safe.
Labans says no shots were fired, and they fled the scene with the cash.
No-one was injured, and no arrests have yet been made.
