Two people were killed and two others injured when two cars collided on Old Cape Road, near Rocklands between Port Elizabeth and Uitenhage late on Saturday afternoon.
Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Gerda Swart says a 23-year old woman, and a 32-year old man were killed when their Ford Ranger collided head-on with a Renault Megane on the R334.
She says the driver and passenger in the Renault were injured, and taken to a Uitenhage hospital.
Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide.
