Expats in UAE march for Jayde

More than 70 South Africans from all over the country took part in a march in rememberance of slain Riebeeck College teacher Jayde Panayiotou in the UAE city of Al Ain on Friday morning.
Expat Carol-Anne Poisat organised the march as a show of solidarity with all victims of crime in South Africa.

She says the walkers were also joined by a group of cyclists and held a moment of silence for Jayde and for all South Afircans who've been victims of crime.

"We walked from the Al Ain golf club to the Al Ain rugby club within the Palm Resort. There were about 70 plus South Africans from all over SA. Some from Cape Town, PE, Uitenhage, Durban, JHB. We had groups that drove through from both Dubai and Abu Dhabi," said  Poisat
